Marie D. McCohnell, M.S. Aka SisterFriend Marie, Owner, Food For Hearts Holistic, Health, Wellness, and Education Consultants Company. Marie has a B.A. degree in Psychology and an M.S. degree in The Education of The Gifted. She is a licensed teacher and specializes in The Gifted and Science.
Her, professional experience includes teaching and tutoring from preschool to college and counseling in both private college and university settings. SisterFriend Marie truly loves to think of herself as a "Jane of All Good and Divine Trades." Her clients and friends lovingly refer to her as "Mrs. Spock" and "The Oracle." She loves teaching and facilitating group discussions she developed called Quantum MindStretch Discussions. The Quantum MindStretch discussion topics are broad and varied and embrace modern science fields, especially conceptual physics and other quantum sciences, and how they interact with our everyday existence. In 1985 her graduate thesis title was "A Mind-Based Model of Giftedness Based on Conceptual Physics." She was way ahead of the academic curve even then. Marie has written and acquired funding for award-winning education programs for elementary-age students and teachers. Marie D. McCohnell is also a certified Hado Instructor trained at the 2nd International Hado School. Her interest in understanding the crossroads where science and spirituality meet and dance; led her to train and certify with Dr. Masaru Emoto, author of the best-seller book series "Messages from Water." She is a published book co-author (Spirit of Wisdom by Marie McCohnell & Virginia Hoyt) and was a featured writer in 2013 for "Sibyl Magazine," a magazine for the spirit and soul of a woman. Marie enjoys writing and sharing her poetry, spiritual philosophies, and telepathically (mind to mind or consciousness to consciousness) received ancient and wise understandings. Marie D. McCohnell has practical experience with or received formal training and is certified in many alternative health-centered modalities, including but not limited to reflexology and certified infant massage instructor, aromatherapy, herbal and flower essences therapies, quantum touch healing, certified crisis hotline counseling, and intervention, and certified natural play instructor. Others know Marie for her Quantum Life Force Meditation: a meditation given to her via Divine Inspiration. To add to her skills set, Marie is currently training to be a certified Happiness Coach and a Lift-path coach, and not that she needs it! (SisterFriend Marie D.
