Earth Purpose Institute for Divine Understanding is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to spiritual growth, cultural healing, and deeper wholeness among people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, and spiritual paths. As we grow, we are intentionally building a governance model that reflects the values at the heart of our mission. Rather than simply replicating a traditional corporate board structure, Earth Purpose Institute is developing a Circle of Stewards - a collaborative leadership body rooted in fiduciary responsibility, ethical discernment, shared accountability, and care for the long-term wellbeing of the Institute. This approach is inspired by the principles explored in Niambi's forthcoming book, Governance as Ceremony: Restoring Purpose, Relationship, and Spirit to the Work of Social Change. We understand governance not only as compliance, but as sacred responsibility: the practice of caring for mission, people, resources, relationships, and impact with integrity. Our Circle of Stewards will provide strategic guidance, fiscal oversight, mission alignment, community accountability, and wise counsel as Earth Purpose Institute continues to expand its programs, partnerships, and public benefit work. |

Fiscal Stewardship & Accountability
During this formative stage, Earth Purpose Institute is also working with established nonprofit partners who provide transitional fiscal sponsorship and administrative support for select programs and initiatives. This partnership strengthens our infrastructure by ensuring that charitable funds are received, managed, tracked, and reported with appropriate fiduciary care while we continue building our long-term internal systems. Through this approach, Earth Purpose Institute is able to remain both visionary and responsible: advancing transformative programming while maintaining strong stewardship of donor and grant funds. We are committed to transparency, accountability, relational integrity, and responsible care of the resources entrusted to us. |
